Broke my bike and lost the missus

    Hasnt been a good week...

Been having shit with anger management (bad tempered) missus now for awhile and to make matters worse me bloody bike sucks all the crap in the bottom of the tank and blocked the carbs & jets.

    So what do I?

Call the motorcycle doc who is the man by the way and he tells me he can sus it out by wednesday arvo which leaves with no wheels and a HUGE source of my enjoyment and freedom taken away.

Now to the bloody woman - she gives me the flick practically: something about I dont appreciate her and she just isnt sure blah blah rahdy rahdy rahdah.

Just feeling sorry for myself... any comments???

    Matty mate, well done!

You could make a fortune giving other blokes lessons in how to get their lady to walk voluntarily.

Whatever the bike costs to fix, it was worth every cent and you'll make many times more than that back from your 'Reverse Dumpung Psychology' classes.

Yep, spend $$$ on bike=better returns.(freedom, good times, meet up with GOOD people etc etc)
Spend $$$ on woman=spend even MORE $$$ on woman(prepare to be poor!)

when she says"you dont appreciate me"...translate "you are NOT focusing your attention on me"
" " " " "not sure anymore" .......... " " " better pull ya socks up or I'll find someone else who will dote on me"

Yeah bummer bout the bike !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

If you havnt already, give your bike a name, not a name that makes you angry, cause you might bin. Just a name so you can be affectionate towards your bike. Spend money on it and go for looooooong rides. This way you wont need a partner because you have "insert name"

    Is it appropriate to repost...

10 Reasons why a bike is better than a woman
    1. It only takes a few minutes to warm up, and if you don't want to ride long it won't complain.
    2. There's no fuss if you want to take a nap after a long ride.
    3. You can test drive it before making a commitment.
    4. You can use it to pick up OTHER women.
    5. You can swap with a friend.
    6. The cost of maintenance is much less.
    7. Once you've ridden it, it doesn't keep calling.
    8. It doesn't care how many other motorcycles you have.
    9. If you ride it once, it won't look for you nine months later.
    10. It has an odometer, so you can tell how many times it's "been around the block".
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

How does feeling sorry for yourself get the two problems fixed?

Having problems with anger usually doesn't make for a good relationship. If you've definetly got the flick then this is like a bike thing. When you crash your bike, sure you can feel sorry for yourself, but it's a great time to figure out what you did wrong, get real clear about it, learn how to do it differently so that you avoid the problem and then practise it.

If you want to have a long term relationship with a bike or a women it would be useful to learn as you go and constantly correct and learn. The thing is if you don't correct the bad habits you'll either have a lot of close calls or keep crashing the bike. That means that you'll have the same problem in your next relationship as you did in your last one. Some people do that, not change that its, on relationship after relationship, and then can't understand why they keep crashing.

I love being in a relationship and have a partner that supports my interest in bikes. It seems to me that you can show someone that they're special to you and enjoy the bike as well.

I know there are a lot of posts above that are around ditch the women and take the bike but I think you can have both, enjoy both and have a better life for it. Assuming that's what you want. I have friends who have chosen single with benefits as a life and it works for them.

As for the anger... that's pretty easy to change for most people. You just gotta know how it all works then it's like working on a bike. PM me if you want to know a bit more about my thoughts on that.

Good luck with the bike and the women thing.

That's all very well, but do we know that the problem is him? Seems the anger issues lie with the girl. Just because guys sometimes treat their wives like shit, doesn't mean it doesn't happen the other way round. Perhaps he is well rid of her. And with his bike as a refuge, he can just spend time with himself before finding a new relationship...one with mutual respect and tolerance.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
