Excuse me sir, why are you taking pictures of my bike?

So as I was working today, in Takapuna... I was filling up the apple display whilst working my awesome job... When some feller just walks in a pre-meditated-like manner, comes right up to my bike, takes two pictures, and makes like a collective group of aviary-ian creatures. One of # plate, one of the right hand side.

I can't recall getting tooted at this morning, so pretty sure I didn't piss someone off... Wasn't an official person.. And no, I was not illegally parked.

Someone's taking meal pictures, for the local dining clubs menu, right?

So by now he's got your home address.

Have you still got your bike? Have you checked TradeMe to see if it's advertised yet?

I don't think you understand Asian supermarket owners. They would keelhaul your ass for even THINKING about throwing an apple perpendicular to the crate/display.

Just scanned and found my bike not on there

I just figured my bike wasn't an MV Agusta/RC211V sorta thing... SO GET AWAY FROM MY BIKE WITH THAT CAMERA DAMNIT!

The too-sensitive bike lock will have to be used from now on, and the noisy garage door closed at night

Yes, my baby is still my baby at present.

regardless if it was a piece of crap or the finest machine in the world, I would have bollicked him and then reported him for taking a pic without your permission, at least then he'd have to front up pretty quickly as too why he was snapping your bike.

He wants the side pic to take home and wank off over it. The number plate is just to avoid fucking the same bike twice - puts it in his database etc..

Mate, if I saw someone doing that, I would smash them in the face, and take the camera. what the fuck right has he got taking pictures of your bike, let alone one of your plate? thats just dodgy. Id punch for the face first, and ask wuastions later, like when hes on the ground holding his face and youre threatening to stomp his balls. Id be getting extra security for your bike quick smart biddy, I cannot think of a single legitimate reason for him to take ANY photos of it, let alone the plate. If he had a complaint to make, he would have rung *555

Hmmm seems a bit dodgy, Legally he is allowed to take a photo if it was in a public place so bashing him wouldn't do much except get you an assault charge. Might be a good idea to make a note of what he was wearing and what he looked like in case something happens to your bike later on. Hope nothing does.

You have convinced me to *try (my darnedest)* beat the crap out of the next person to do this, or touch my bike.

Xena bike lock, you will be used tomorrey!

You're all making me feel bad for not bashing him... I wanna bash him now!

EDIT: Warning them first might be a good idea though ><

    Steve

a practice you are familiar with perhaps?

It might just be he liked the bike and liked it from those angles.
Did ye not think about going out and walking up to him and asking him what his purpose was?
