    Mothers... and me

Not your standard race meet and I LOVED it! THUMBS UP Mothers MC club! This event just gets better and bigger every year. 60ish bikes in the ‘all in’ races with 3 x the crowds of club meets.
Amongst the rivalry there were Seasoned racers, Weekend players, Harley stayers, lots of Duc's, Triples and Aprilia's taking the front of the open races. And of course hot grid gals for the boys (did an awesome job of distracting the lads for me on the start grid), and loads of track time for ya toys. Definitely something at this event for everyone.

    THE GOALS WERE...

    Have FUN
    =YEP

Don’t push limits at this one
    =of course not

Don't 'FACE PLANT' running to the LE MANS start(again!!)
=my legs worked! Im sure there were a lot a camara's ready to catch my fall this time too! Totally enjoyed that race!

Give my team some entertaining racing to view
    =YEP

Use my human shock absorbers in the bikebashing to save my bike going down = YEP! and I have super ugly black'n' blue shoulder bony bits, but its not broke, 99 is in one piece though(yep that was MY line buddy….MINE lol), Sorry to the 2 dudes who then went off the track after I got slammed into them, not sure how we stayed upright!

Finish better than 10th in all the “ ALL IN ” races
= YEP and even better and better

Dont check out the 'on track' action cracks
    BLINDING!

    do NOT break my bike
= NUP….I burnt my clutch out good n proper this time and had to push her back to the pits after just taking on 3rd place. But hey it was a great day.

Huge thank you to my sponsors and everyone that made the day. And to Mothers Motorcycle club and the Marshalls for giving us this day every year.

It sure was an eye opener to watch 11 bikes across the start line and 60 bikes out there at the one time going into that 1st right hander. Talk about having your heart in your mouth watching. Amazily everyone seem to get around that 1st corner all still up right.
There sure were some awesome looking machines up there and the sound of them going down the front straight was music to your ears.

lol.....Thanks Dazza, I think it was them boys pushing me around all good fun though. Not sure if it was the RC8 but it was a black 675 that shunted me into them. And YES you should definitely come out and play next year

Geez Flame. It all sounds a bit too rough for my delicate sensibilities. Sounds like you were right at home though.

Was awesome to watch Vicky, ya took no prisoners out there, even during the elbow match ya had heading down the straight to higgins, i was thinking ok this guy don't want ya beatin him, but was good to see ya blast past him !
Was a great day and enjoyed racing with ya (ok behind ya but hey my excuse is the view was better there)
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

Goals achieved then Vicky, - have had a few reports from the day come through & it seemed like there was some "close" racing going on. :-)
