Great ride agin last nite. Thanks to crazyfrog we (Nordie, Woodman, CF & myself) got a bit of everything in - steep clay track, riding blind into the sun, dry clay tracks, gravel forestry roads, bit of highway to Pelorus & a groove back thru the Maunga to Nelson.

The Maunga is in exceptionally good shape at the moment. I managed to move that fing big rock from the middle of the track with my now rooted plastic bashplate. Job for weekend - get new alloy plate ready for welding.

It was cool following Woody I put my navajo tracking skills to work - Hmmm... yes... powered on there... late braking there... Nearly missed that corner... Shat himself there....

yea great ride thanks guys, shows what you can do on a schoolnight.

Almost fell off laughing when Padmei looked behind him and ran off the road. Saved it though, so well done.
New gravel road cornering technique is coming along quite nicely but still a few bugs to iron out.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........

Anyone interested in a bit of a ride next sat 4th ? Im meeting my bro inlaw Mountie in Picton and plan to do a 'twin peak's ' assault .
Through Taylors and up Mt Altimarloch and knock that bastard off, then through the Onamalutu and up Mt Patriarch and Knock that bastard off as well .
This will be weather dependant of course , If its real cloudy we will probably just bugger off and do something else instead.

Make sure it's saved as blahblah.kmz and it should open with Google Earth.
