As expected, looks like the team had a good day out (and I missed it), with the weather and its effect on the views a real bonus. Particularly galling I missed a ride where the coffee and bull stop time equalled ride time - my sort of ride!

Never been on North Range or to the dams although have ridden up the Peak. Looks like you got the full on view. Would have been great to do these with good company.

At least I can console myself knowing I was in no way up to it. Sore ribs ex Odlins Road made me feel a little queasy turning the steering wheel just when piloting the van up the drive on Saturday and then turning it around when I realised I was not fit to drive any further. Here is hoping I am fit for Sunday 12th and that my rest over the weekend will have contibuted to this.

Thanks for the ride on Sunday Howie. Good to see some new country.

I bailed at Lunch time, as I was expecting to be a lot further north by then. Had places to be.

    Here's a few photos.

That photo of Jezza coming over the bridge is bloody nice. You might want to send him a copy. Pity he's not quite in focus...Then again, he was having problems during the day, so might be an accurate portrayal...

Yeah, I took a few there, but they all came out blurry. Hard to get an action shot of a moving object with bugger all light. Still got a lot to learn with this photography stuff

I won't give up my day job (just yet).

I went over the windmill road on the way home. That's quite an awesome track. Did you guys see the smiley faces I left ya?

I go up Whariti quite regularly, so didn't bother. Awesome views though eh.

What some people may have missed was the blokes in a blue car sitting just off the summit to Wharite Peak, sitting looking at the view. Looked a nice car. Must have been fairly harsh riding it there. Then again

Nice shots Bart, you make me look good.

That shot of the DR-z and the windmills is nice too.

I'm surprised no one got a photo of him blowing chunks - if I'd felt like he looked I'd have stayed in bed...
