A dude on an R6 pulled up next to us just north of Cheviot puffing away as he rode. You'd better start practising - great way to find any fuel leaks too I'd say.

This bike has one sweet engine and gearbox and even smells new. Which it should because it is. Pillions very nicely too

110 kms added tonight, have the day off tomorrow so first service here she comes. South Island here she comes

Definitely not as sexy, but not bad all the same Tent carrying is yet to be sorted, hell this is a spontaneous trip lol. More very good news, great how life improves eh

I'll be doing my utmost to keep er rubber side up alright. The bike is great, need to do 700 kms by Thursday, should be right That's a dealer plate, it all just happened so quickly following a flurry of phone calls this morning the real plate has yet to arrive

Very mint Al I'm getting quite fond of the black already, and the small amount of time I spent with her in daylight (picked up at 5.30) revealed a lovely blue sheen underneath. Looking forward to tomorrow, but she won't be so clean then

Right. I'm off to run in a Tiger. Most likely route will be Wanga's, Para's, Feilds Track, National Park, Turangi. Check the bach and a spot of lunch then down the middle Waiouru, Taihape, Vinegar Hill.
