the bike was becomming very depressed and started have visions that it was a suzuki so it commited suicide by blowing itself up

His bike was stolen by the IRA.

It was rigged with explosives and parked outside a pub frequented by RUC (British police) in Northern Ireland.

It was detonated as they left the pub.

Luckly nobody was hurt - but it was an attempt to kill several.

I've heard of car-bombs but never motorbike bombs. I wonder why they used a bike - surely you couldn't pack enough explosives in there to do the intended damage?

Being an unknown vehicle parked outside a known haunt of the gubbermints soldiers, probably less likely to 'cause less suspicion that way.
