Probably get there, of course not as fast as a gixxer, R1 whatever.

But then by choice he's not riding one of them.

Is there a regulation stipulating maximum riser here?

No, nothing specific. WoF could get you on the general requirement of "the vehicle requires unreasonable force to steer or the steering is unreasonably stiff rough or light". Or on fixing - it would be hard to stop those bars flexing in their mounts. A cop could maybe get you on the general "does not have sufficient control of the vehicle". But no specific riser regulation.

Mind you if his bike is anything to go by he probably wouldn't give a toss because he's out there having fun.

I've text him the link to this thread !
Just thought i'd mention that, in case any of you who called him a tosser, might like to crawl back into the hole whence you came !
He's thinking about subscribing to a few threads, so as to learn which rides some folk might be going on in the future !
Don't know how much time he'll spend on here searching though, he's more of an "in your face" sort of bloke, but patient, really patient !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

Well, yes, but only if your choice is an APPROVED choice. Y' can't have people making their own choices, I mean where it all end .

Well, if I had the dosh I'd choose to live in a castle, with a moat full of crocs. I'd feed the crocs on heretics and used car salesmen and throw cows at invaders. Yes, you're right; where would it all end?

Haven't read all the thread but is quite obviously a chopper that someone forgot to tighten the triple clamps on! Spose someone has already said that!

That bike is pretty cool. Used to love choppers with ape hangers when I was a kid. Dunno if I'd ever ride one though. My mate who I showed that photo to exclaimed "You know why you always see outlaw types riding with those bars don't you?" to which I had to ask why. His reply was priceless......

"Saves time when the coppers yell hands up!"

Yeah some of us are pretty anal...I ride, then I clean my bike, polish it, stand back and sigh...then the next day...I wash the bike cause the dog licked it, then I polish it again, stand back, polish a couple of spots I didn't quite get...then sigh...then go for a ride. When I get home I wash it again and polish it lovingly...I love my bike...
