[QUOTE=Pwalo;2020313]Dunno. I'd also watch out for Capirossi. He's been surprisingly quick in pre season testing, and Rossi reckons that the GSVR looks pretty good this year (and I guess he knows a thing or two).
Well, I told you to watch the little chap. Crashes quite well by all accounts. At least he made the race a wee bit exciting.
Can't say I was impressed with Dani being taken out. Alex so could have minimised the contact if not avoided it totally. It could have ended far more seriously.
Looks like the one-tyre rule hasn't done much to close up the racing so far...
I just put a 'who do you think will win' poll on the kiwi rider site.

watch it again...dani obviously ran a little wide, and you will notice that Elias is actually doing a small wheelie and running wide himself, trying to get a drive on Dani.As he runs wide(still with the front wheel in the air,Dani is coming back onto the racing line...I really think it was a genuine racing incident.
You mean De Angelis not Elias eh?
I watched it at least 10 times over the race and replays. It was a racing incident for sure but a more mature rider would have made an effort to minimise the contact rather than make the pass at all costs.
The problem was Dani got a shit drive out of the corner (mistake maybe) so Alex didn't fall in behind as he was expecting. Wouldn't have been hard to button off a smidge or leave Dani some room though.
In my opinion it was a stupid rookie red-mist moment and he should consider himself warned.
Heh heh.. this one![]()
It's only when you take the piss out of a partially shaved wookie with an overactive 'me' gene and stapled on piss flaps that it becomes a problem.
