IMS tanks/oversize gas tanks

what size tank did you get?
what was it before?
i recently went back to a standard tank, 9L, cuz the bigger one had interference issues...

9L should be enough , wouldn't have thought your bike would be particularly thirsty

there are small extra tanks you can get that fit where your number board is but will make the steering a bit heavyer for a while i guess till its empty

Next addition when I save my pennies will be an fmf fatty mini pipe/shorty mini silencer. Bushbars and a skidplate would be nice too... I've got a nice big list planned for xmas and birthdays
At the 90k loop at TB I had to fill up at both fuel stops, so it'll be awesome not to have to worry about refuelling so much on big loops

my bike holds 10.5l i only half fill it when im running round a mx track or at the sandpit, its real heavy when its fully tanked.

I don't have a whole lot to compare it too, but I think it does alright for a little 2 stroke. Allegedly better bottom end than an 85 (which is why I went for it over an 85) but I have no idea since I've not ridden one!

flyingcr250: That's what I'm planning on doing too Got a big heavy full tank at the moment since I was all excited about being able to almost empty a whole jerry can in there...Aah, the things that'll entertain me... Hope I can still push it up the ramp, should be right tho.
Sort of wish I hadn't been so impulsive about shaving the seat now, it'll be good in the long run but now I have to recover it on saturday which will probably take a while so no harrisville practise

Nah recovering a seat is easy make sure you got a grunty staple gun and use a heat gun(wifes hair dryer) to warm it up

Took me about 1/2 an hour to do mine
Im sure im the only person in this world with a shaved seat EVERYONE is fascinated with it when they see it

yea 10ltrs of fuel on top of a big heavy ktm is a bit of a killer when your stuck on the side of a slippery hill.
