Some would see that as a plus.

I got the Z750S because it had that half fairing. I love it. I talk about buying other bikes, but there's sod all do everything bikes on the market that are fun to ride. The Z1000 is the Z750 for girls or blokes with a tiny weeny "one". Both engines are based on the ZX9R mill. 1000 has more top end, but the Z750S pilot doesn't need George Foreman neck muscles.

Seat's hard and the suspension is typical cheap Kawasaki oversprung underdamped we-are-going-to-crush-your-nads-into-disc-shaped-mountain-oysters. Both are easy to fix. The Z750 is way better looking than the Z750S (IMO) but isn't quite as good at the commute all week, tour/blat all weekend. Again IMO. I'll shut up now.

Mines to low of a seat height, suspension is a bit mushy, like riding a horse on those competition courses (What ever you call them) when i encounter uneven road surfaces, bumps etc.

Seat... I've come across bricks that are softer - getting remedied tho, new seat is on the way.

Fuel usage... the thing abuses fuel, it sucks. Worst consumption so far is 8L/100km, and it usually sits in the high 6 - mid 7. Bigger than average fuel tank, but it doesn't last long enough

Haveta say I agree - if it sounds too revvy change up, if it's struggling change down. Sorted.

    Yeah, can relate.

What I would change about my bike:
    - Spray the tank and other bits to be the same colour. One day when I have time/money.
    - Apparently the pillion seat is really uncomfortable, says Mrs Rainman.
    Redefining slow since 2006...
