The views expressed above may not match yours - But that's the reason my Dad went to war - wasn't it?
Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, .... but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out,... shouting "man, what a ride"!!!
Nice one mate
To every man upon this earth
Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

Anyways, well done on the purchase. I didn't read all posts, but I take it you gave the battery a good charge?
Don't muck around with a flat battery for too long on the CBR's, as they (well the bigger ones at least) will blow the Reg/ Rectifier if you do. I presume it is the same for the 250. Well, it isn't a good idea to charge any battery from flat using the vehicles charging system.
Just love those 18,000rpm redlines.
Cheers

too right!! nah, didnt even try the old battery (ends were concave as well lol ) , new ones are sooo cheap its easier not to botherOriginally Posted by quickbuck

Good plan.
BTW, good to see you are getting rid of that "Tractor" on TM.
The 250 will run on the smell of fuel compaired to that.
lol, tis a good tractor though
and pretty economical considering, well alot more so than my gazelle with the 2l turbo
cbr should even the playing field though!
