    Congrats on 2000 Joni
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

My old mate Aaron Slight told me that I had what it takes to become a NZ motorcycle racing legend. To achieve this all I had to do was break down my inhibitions. I think I misunderstood what he meant and now I labeled a homo. Great.

However, I am glad it was Dover that broke my cherry. He's was very gentle and even bought me a six pack afterwards.

Am I the only one who thinks telling a forum mod to "sod off" is about as stupid an act as you can get on a web forum?

I didn't know about Rep until I read this thread. I just thought that the green squares related to the number of posts.
It turns out that having checked mine out, I find that I have some red rep for a couple of my thread posts. I know who they were from and it just highlighted the fact that we do not always 'read' what the poster intends.
It is very easy to read it one way when it was meant in a totally different context. However, at times, there are a number of people on this forum who resort to personal attacks rather than open discussion. Not a healthy situation as it just drags the forum down.
I sorted mine out by being big enough to realise that this is an open forum and that we are not all literary experts. Rather than getting into a war of posts, I accepted that others do have opinions which may not match mine.
So I backed off, forgot about it and opened another beer.
One day I might meet up with the guy on a ride, have a beer and end up leaving as mates - who knows. But I will not be losing any sleep over it.
I'm only wearing black until they develop something darker

We came, We listened, And in one voice we answered
    BULLSHIT!! BULLSHIT!! BULLSHIT!! BULLSHIT!! BULLSHIT!!

Another thing is that this is online and therefore a 'Virtual' environment so some posters can seem like agressive nasty pieces of work with polarised opinions but quite often they're just trying to take the piss and are really decent people in real life.

A good example of this is that I seem really reasonable but am actually a psychopathic bottle and knife weilding Glaswegian that would slice your face off for "lookin' at me funny" (i.e. Begbie from Trainspotting).

My advice - if there's a serious disagreement - meet up on a KB ride and sort it all out in a pub carpark - that way we can all sink beers together as you kiss and make up.

No, Dover's a real prick in real life too. His mother told him he could be anything he wanted to so he decided to be an arsehole.

The suggestion of sorting out our differences with violence must be the Scot in you. You're in NZ now, that's what our wives are for.

From what I've read Finn you've had more than a little "Scot" in you too. It was Dover popped your cherry wasn't it?

Tell me - did it make you violent?

I was suggesting they have a snog in the car park anyway because personally I hate violence....in fact I hate all fuckin' stringed instruments. Voilence, 'chellos, violas....
