John Banks has never agreed with the lowering of standards to fill the quota.
He never agreed to being PC and allowing 5 Foot 0 officers walking the beat, nor did he want the standards lowered to allow a lower mental standard.
Banksie always wanted the bar to be met. The only way he could provide 900 cops was by increasing salaries which unfortunately for him, never came.
But, Once he was gone - The standard was lowered and hence you have the many drongos of today.

One thing I don't like about him........

He doesn't appear to like rugby. And he'd rather spend money on providing healthcare than on hosting the next RWC. But no, not everybody is perfect.
