I'm a bit inclined to agree with Texmo - the new look doesnt do much for me either. The fairing looks like they have tried to copy the R6, without much success, and the headlights have got that thin, low mounted look like the new 1200 Ducati design - which is the bit of it I dont like. As for the colour scheme, it looks like something a boi-racer would have come up with to be honest. A bit too "the fast and the furious" for my liking. Also agree with LBTW, will reserve full judgement till seeing one in the flesh.

personally I don't like it. The front looks like its from the CBR125, it looks like it has a beak. Although I do like the graphics on the blue one.

now this is a damn good looking CBR

Now strangely enough I usually dont like a blue bike... but if I was chosing I would go blue... altho it would be killer in black....

Excuse my ignorance Gav, but are they in NZ or when are they planned to be released?

Hmmm im not sure about that one. It reminds me of the gixxer too much, and thats wrong is it just me or are all new bike designs becoming a little too synthetic?

Maybe it'll grow on me. Saying that if you gave me one id still ride it

A silhouette of each Jap Sports bike at 50m and no-one could tell the difference anyway.

Looks like a cross between a Benelli and an R6 to me.

I reckon thats the way all Jap bikes are going and they are all getting some kind of generic look about them... with a little different pipe here or something else there... they generally do look the same, that either gets you going or not...

Everyone knows I am a Honda fan... and have faith in the technology behind their designs, so maybe Im biased towards the model...

In my very limited experience, the current K6 750 corners better than a nearly current CBR600RR.

It is gixxer owners who have the problem
