    FOR SALE: Norton Commando

    This is my mates bike which is now up for sale as he is expecting another kid on friday to pop out of his wife... any who its all there. Price well make an offer. PM me for his contact details.

    This Commando is the goods it has:750 motor ,4S cam,boyer ignition,honda regulator/rectifier,mark 1 amals,rebuilt motor gearbox clutch and all running gear 2000 miles ago,Gremeca 4 leading shoe front brake,18 inch flanged alloy rims with stainless spokes,RGM billet fork yokes,RGM balanced std crank,Amal levers,rebuilt tacho and speedo,Norvil vernieer isolastics,Norvil stainless head steady,all cables were new as were tyres and exhausts 2000 miles ago.
    Originally this bike was a S type from 1970 ,engine gear box and frame numbers all match.

    Very nice....

    Possible worth as an S Type but bloody nice lookin bike.

    How much is he wanting? Market is a bit flat for them locally at the moment so I'd suggest listing it internationally if you could.

    But no. I'm sensible and mature. And a Thruxton is really the modern equivalent without the oil leaks, etc. Sorry mate but thanks for the dream. Beautiful bike.

    Nicely done piece of work, with the Laverda SFC replica look going on
    hope the isolastic bushes have been done properly otherwise she'll shake herself to bits

    still a classy old piece of machinery

    Seeing as I am in a pedantic mood.... thats a Norton production racer replica.... first appeared in 1971 I think (off the top of my head) about the same time as the SFC.... but it aint no SFC replica!!!!
