    200's too fast? hahahahahahhahahahahahahaha

i've just been talking to a HP cop - he said that most of the time he doesn't worry about bikes cause he knows the riders are usually concentrating harder, and if they crash they usually only kill themselves.

he always picks on patch wearers though.

    i taught him well

Even if my bike could do that, I wouldn't. I didn't actually whinge about my kid getting a ticket, but since you brought it up, yes he did, and the telling off he got from the cop was minor in comparison to what he got from his mother. 65 kph is quite different to 215 tho, wouldn't you say?
Not all of us have to speed like the devil is on our arse. Not all of us have to "prove" ourselves, some of us can just ride at a reasonable pace and enjoy what we are doing. It can be about enjoying the journey and it has the added benefits of no road side tax and no demerits too... can't be all bad.

Rather partial to curried sausages. And I always carry a few beers in the BMW saddlebags.

Auckland to Napier, 400+ km. And some slow bits to get through, plus a fuel stop. I'd reckon a good 4 hours. And allow a bit for finding the house. Say 10pm I reckon.

But I'm not coming if that greedy little hXc fella's gonna eat all the sausages before I get there.

So those smacks on my shoulder were NOT to go a 'bit' faster then?
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Will you be requiring a bed? You may have to share with Busa Pete.... I'm rather partial to a Gweurtz (sp) with a curry, can you pick up a couple of bottles please? See you soon - and ride safe, ya hear!
hXc is many things - but greedy is not one of them!
