nope, i dont have a garage so can only work on my bike on fine days in the weekend. gonna give it a go on saturday, even if i only manage to clean some part it will have to do (gotta get new spark plugs too and check what they are vs what they should be and mabye change)

i'll be there.

Mate...if the bike's runnning then you could bring it up to my place tomorrow night and I'll give you a hand sorting your carbs out in my garage. Let me know if you're keen...I'm up in Newlands.

Just turn up as early as you can (anytime after 8.30am) and make the offer.

People entering only need to be there by 9.00am. Leaving Caltex at 8.00am would give you ample time - you could even stop for a quick coffee on the way. Or a pie, eh Fatjim ?

It shouldn't take any longer than 40 minutes really. I wouldn't have a clue how many people will enter but I can't imagine they will turn anyone away.

Wasp's bike sounds like an F1 car or something, as I found out yesterday. There's nothing like a 4-cyl at 16,000rpm.

I'm a little concerned about cross-winds, it's been pretty gusty lately. Always keen on free Lube though, see you guys at Caltex?
