    Dunlop GPR 100 Tyres

Just had one fitted by botany honda a day ago (cheers for the discount mark), and went out today to give it a bit of a scrub in, and the improvement was noticeable straight away!
My bikes current weakness in handling is the IRC tyre on the front...was recommended by Mt Eden, but i have to say DO NOT TOUCH THEM. The compound seems soft, but for some reason washes out too easily.

Back to the GPR100...i only really had the chance to push them really hard in a carpark (Loyd Elsmore park has some excellent carparks that stay empty a lot of the time). But the back of the bike actually feels firmer and more rigid than before, and the rear has plenty of sticking power.
I cant wait to change the front tyre now!

I Highly recommend these to anyone looking to replace tyres sometime soon.
Nail your colours to the mast that all may look upon them and know who you are.
It takes a big man to cry...and an even bigger man to laugh at that man.

IRC's are pretty crap, but Bert races on them I think. Texmo didn't like the GPR100 anywhere near as much as the GPR70, and proceeded to high side his bike with a new GPR100 rear. I'm not saying they are bad, just that the GPR70 is the best for these bikes. Although, I'd argue that I prefer my Bridgestone BT090 Battleaxe front, the general consensus is that the GPR70 is the race tyre of choice.

Ha, I've practiced slides in Lloyd Elsmore too, but the carparks have pretty crappy surfaces, which one's did you like best? I've only used the one by the bowling club.

Also noticed you've got 3 zxr's. I've got 3 CBR250's, and one CBR600 that I have yet to pay for
Had you thought of racing in the Streetstock class?

I did a drift around a roundabout due to the rear IRC on the way home today. Reallllly dodgy tyres. The ol' CBR used to have them too

A friend of mine saw me at least, it must've looked pretty cool

Want to sponser me by lending me a bike?

How much did you get your 3rd bike for? The first 2 were 5000+ right?
