Mine's a heap of shit. It's slow, doesn't go round corners very well and keeps falling over. It scratches really easily too.

    Fucking crap suzukis.

This situation is in no way my fault WINJA. As a consumer scheming and second guessing over warranty issues should not be needed, it should be fixed first time.
    Time for a Honda WINJA.
And for what its worth the 3 way switchable ECU sounds like a gimmic [for the road at least].

    Well who did that?
I don't need help from mods to deal with a guy who wants 'chicken' settings on his ECU.

Chevrolet did it about 15 years ago with the Corvette, you could switch it from 400bhp to 200bhp for driving around town then open it up out of town. It simply switched off one throttle blade and one injector on each cylinder.

Well good 'Impulse rider'...they do own the worlds race tracks and have for some time.

Harleys are great if you use them as they're intended.

It is quite a big deal if you stop to think about it.

What about Hayden - I thought he was your top mechanic ?

Tony Sampson was the pilot on the GSXR I believe? If so, he's an animal from way back. He'd stretch the throttle cable of any bike and record fast times.
I used to race with him waaaaay back in 250 proddie, and he makes my crashing record look lightweight!

But for the record people....Tony USED to be a YAMAHA man through and through (he's owned a couple of R1's let alone earlier yamaha race bikes). That was UNTIL he rode his first GSXR 1000.

I doubt you'll get him off Suzukis now. And yes he used to ride Hondas too.

And Deano....Hayden IS one of our top guys, but when I said Bruce could sort it, I meant if he was too busy to look at it himself, he'd sort it by getting someone as good to look at it! But Bruce is a guru when it comes to diagnostics.

    See you Sunday?

That switch thingy sounds like a good idea - It will all be computer settings - pretty easy for the factory to sort out and I am surprised it has not been done before. Lets face it you are not using 190hp around town, any fact be told the only place you should be is on a track, so why not have a grunter setting for more low down. Heck my 100 horses keep my bowel mussels active!

As for XXX are shit bikes - buy any Jap bike are you are well set for years of reliable, hassle free riding. Yes occasionally things do go wrong - are you perfect at your job?

Go back to your dealer and ask them to sit down with you and go over the records of what they have done and how long it has taken, make an appointment with the manager if need be. At the end of it conclude that the bike still has the problem and ask him/her what are 'we' going to do to resolve this issue within the next few weeks as you really do not want to get lawyers involved and waste more of your time.......you also have the consumers protection act shit, which in this case may work as they have made a reasonable effort and expense to correct the fault and it is still going on - thus a replacement (2007 one!).
    Good luck and stay calm.
