Welcome, if you,re as keen as you sound , then you may as well get your gear now. At least you have got it even if you jump on the back of someones bike for now.

Well Ed, sometimes guys need a helping hand… you know to guide them in the right direction, to keep them out of harms way, and do what they are bloody well told. (does it really look like I am just trying to get my post count up? Cause I’m not!)

Although I enjoy a cigar every christmas, maybe you should try putting something else in your mouth... like ummm gum, the smokers cough should be gone in a week or two.

ummm not yet skel. Don't think it would be a good look to sit it until I know how to ride. I have two options.... get rider training for $70 per hour, including bike hiring then sit it. Or get a bike first (which I am trying really hard to find one, looking in the paper, internet, and might go over to the hutt and visit some bike shops) and learn at my own speed and then sit it. I am giving myself until Jan to get my learners (my birthday).

Some of the comets I have seen advised by dealers are going for about 7-9k, not sure I want to spend that much on my first bike.
