    here ya go boyo

Thanks! I've seen a few versions - that first one looks pretty grunty. I don't see the problem with law abiding people having them to protect themselves and family. Its got to be less harmfull than any other form of self defence bar running away - which you can't always do. Better to be in court on assault charges than dead or have kids screwed up over a more traumatic event. The only people its likely to kill are those with a weak heart or a pacemaker - not the sort of people that are going to start trouble.
I love the smell of twin V16's in the morning..

Restricted weapon has to be scheduled as such. Is it? Especially ahome built one. Cos, whats the difference technically between a "taser" and , say, a Van der Graff generator?

Or a CDI ignition system? That produces a hell of a voltage, too. Ask someone who's been silly enough to put a spark plug in his mouth.

If in trouble they could call a cop: rolleyes:
I thought you were only against cops with radars Lou?

Maybe they should give them all pepper spray, batons, tasers and glocks.

You might need to upgrade the old bandit though the next time a woman driving a bmw takes offence.

They are a restricted weapon, therefore not available to the general public. Do you want to see the street urchins in Otara running around zapping old ladies for fun? Thats what would happen if they were available to anyone.

Also a restricted weapon, you can't have that either.

Ask the Bentleys if they'll rely on calling the cops again.
    Speed doesn't kill people.

Why, if they are as harmless as is claimed?

'Harmless' is a relative term, sky diving is harmless too.

'Effective' is the word I want to hear.

'Harm' is what I want the recipient to hear.

So, if they're effective, and as harmless as the official claims, why can't I have one to keep under my bed. After all, by the same official logic, it must be better for a a burglar to be tasered by me, than for him to be introduced to a couple of foot of good German steel under the present dispensation.

EDIt Would be perfectly simple to have a rule that householders can have one in the house, but not allowed to have them in public. Works for every body, householder can protect himself/herself doesn't get mugged /raped; cops get an easy pick up on Burglar Bill, still twitching, and Burglar Bill gets a harmless tingle instead of an unpleasant introduction to Solingen's finest/

He ain't good either, or any good, I've heard, and he ain't got a couple of inches (I've heard , but check with Maurice next time you're alone together ) let alone a couple of foot, and it ain't steel. More like wet spagetthi - maybe he's Italian.

(Shit, I think I surpassed myself)
