If you fuckn lanesplit me and i havnt seen you and you hit me on the left, ill split your head open!!
Im normally to busy watching what the dumb cager in front of me is doing to watch out for people trying to pass me on the left in my lane! about a week ago i had a gold (cow poo yellow) triamph daytona? split me, i thought ok i didt hear or see you and if id moved to the left in my land we would have hit at about 50-60km not nice! So if your going to do it make sure the bike in front knows your there and moves for you before you split him.
If you try and take me out ill follow you home and beat you with your own bike!![]()
Take care out there, those cagers are out to get you!!

Hmm...your post makes me think perhaps I am using the wrong terminology. I'm talking about riding between the two lines of cars. I don't think there's enough room in this "lane" to pass another bike - whether on the right or left.
If going between the two lanes of cars is not called lane splitting, what is it called? Better get this biker lingo right!

Me and my imaginary friend have been goin' round the bend for some time now....
S'alright mate that's the right words. Crazy may have misinterpreted your post perhaps. Knowing (as little as I do - but having met you) I'd find it hard to believe you were riding agressively or dangerously. If someone is riding in a manner that causes you to be concerned for your safety, then either pass them when it is safe to do so and you have plenty of room or back off and ride safely within the normal lanes of traffic. Sometimes it's not only cagers that are irresponsible and unsafe on the road.
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
we will remember them
So, it looks like we're all agreed then.![]()
You're an angry man, James...
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.

we will remember them

and one of those is legal, and one definitely isn't...
Tell you what... all of you that think splitting is really dangerous etc etc yada yada... try sitting in traffic, in the fast lane, it slows, and you flash your brakes a bit, and slow down, on the engine. Then you hear a screech from behind...
you look in the mirrors, and see a car coming up fast. You duck to the left hand side of the lane, and a car pulls up next to you, on the right. Now tell me splitting is more dangerous.
I have split at most speeds, and speed differentials of 70+. As long as you have enough space, and reaction time to react to anything that could happen, I view it as ok, and I have indeed been tested. No accidents yet *touch wood*
Sitting in traffic, I have almost been hit from behind multiple times, had cars move into my space from another lane countless times etc. While splitting, I tend to have a MUCH higher level of concentration... just the way it is.
That said... it doesn't matter if the bike is splitting or not, they could start at any moment. I always take care around other bikes. Pull up behind, rev, and wait. If I end up waiting too long, I'll switch bike lane, and split past, then resume my trip...
