Labour seems to love the term 'whip round', I remember last time they had a whip around for the police officers who were charged with dangerous driving, whilst under orders to get the manlady to the airport for a fucking rugby game. No wonder Australia is laughing at NZ, we put monkeys in the driving seat.

The whip around for the police drivers was the right thing to do. Their job is to do what their boss said, their boss said to drive fast so they did. When somone is following direct orders the legality of such is placed directly on the person who made the orders. Or thats how it should be.

Just as I predicted in another thread. This is not about paying the money back. It's politicks. As Don Brash has 'correctly said, Llabour has tried all the tricks under the sun to keep this from the public eye. Labour has to some extent been succesfull in this for reasons that I have previoulsly mentioned. Yes they have copped some bad press but that was going to happen anway. They have exposed Brash as a womaniser and the man who can not be trusted. That has yet to hit the public psych but it will in the right environment. No one likes cheats. All the parties with the exception of Jum Andertons' Progressive's have been found to be in breach of the funding guidlines. Yes Labour are in the shit for the biggest amount but they will still be standing on the moral high ground the longest paying this large sum back, while National and the minor parties will already have done so and slipped back into the valley of medocrity. Now think about this. Just for a moment put you political views to one side and look at the ramifications of what Helen Clark has done.

It's politicly very astute. At present there is no one who can even get close to her in the art of Real politik.

Now will Labour win in two years time?? Shit I don't know. History says no. Sometimes just sometimes a new event occurs; one that has never happened before.
