    2007 Zx6-r US$8,999

Kawasaki USA website has 2007 ZX6-R listed as $8,999. I think that was the same price as 2006 model.
No other country Kawasaki sites have 2007 model listed yet, whats with that?
We should get it at same price or even cheaper than 2006 model, but I won't hold my breath.

The NZ dollar is likely to decline this year (provided the property market slows down and the Reserve Bank doesn't raise the central interest rates).

If anything the 2007 model will be slightly more expensive - so they can hedge against the expected currency movement.

thats $14k-$15k for a new bike... pretty sweet if you ask me, just wish the 2007 R6 would be the same price!

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

Yeh, Forest is on the mark. It's not as simple as paying the same as other countries otherwise our currency would equal US$1.

Importers have to hedge against currency fluctuations, and smart money is on our dollar devaluing. Even if it stays the same all year you're assuming Kawasaki NZ buy the bikes in US$ (maybe they do, but.....).

But you're right in your last statement. Don't wait underwater......
