I was nearly home from a 400 k or so ride after testing some new parts. Coming down the Bombay (light traffic/mid week) i cruised past the car in question at 122 kmh it seems.... I noticed him in the mirror on the straight.
Can't complain,first ticket on a bike for years.
He clocked me for 115 kmh which was only $80/10 demerits verses lots more over 121kmh.

The speed limit is there to protect the majority of the population from a minority who don't get it.Is it fair to those that might have a clue (or think they do) perhaps not but that is the only thing that might save others due to the low driver education and licenses that are freely handed out.Maybe one day when the system is based on the European outlook.Of course they actually know how to build and maintain roads.
Think of all the city dwellers who have trouble going up and down a motorway,who then head out to the open road on weekends (Like Goofy going on holiday in a Disneyland movie) The !@#$ers can't even follow at a sensible distance let alone calculate a overtaking maneuver.They follow along like sheep bunched up. etc etc
