I nicknamed my bike Speedy, because...Arriba! Arriba! Andale! Andale! YEEHAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![]()
Damn, that's happened to a mate and fellow Kiwibiker...
He had interesting headaches for a week afterwards after kissing the side of the Courier van. How'd you score a CBR from that?
I'm doing Mech. Engineering at AUT, or as my mates from across the road like to call it "Special University".
Can't say I blame you for leaving engineering science, that's possibly the driest Eng course there is, and when you couple that with boring PD papers...
Call me a geek but I actually enjoyed all the mathematical papers in engineering science... I think I would have preferred to study theoretical physics and mathematics instead though... I left because of all the different "design" and other law and management oriented papers which I really did not enjoy and I thought at the time that I wanted to be a professional pilot (how mistaken I was....)
I say I ended up with a CBR because when my bike was in the shop I thought It might be written off so I started looking for new bikes (since I had insurance) and saw a cbr250r mc19 going for 3300 with missing bottom fairing but the rest of the bike in bloody good condition with really low kms..... since they've written it off I'll have some money left over after paying for my cbr250 too!!!! And oh it's a world of difference from the slow ZZR250...
I have deep pockets. It's just that it's a deep empty pocket...........
You directed this at Bobsmith.
Saying things like this and in the way you say it is bound to draw attention in this forum. You will get a reaction. I guess this is what you want.
Bobsmith voices his reaction to your comments in his reply.
I agree with what he said.
My opinion is - asking about bike names sounds ok. Talking like a dick is not.
Are you taking any prescription medication? [Rain Man]

You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say will be quoted out of context, then used against you.

Mine is called "the Gerbil". So was the previous one. And so were all the cages I ever owned with the exception of the present one which is dubbed "the pregnant guinea pig" due to certain design features and ghmmm... acceleration or should I rather say lack thereof.
"People are stupid ... almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People's heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true ... they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so all are easier to fool." -- Wizard's First Rule
