    Update!

    Afternoon All.

As you all know Darryl was on the ferry back home and got turned around, he was nice enough to call me this afternoon and give me the low down.

The cost price of the parts needed to fix the boys bike is just under $600 and yes he is going to supply them for cost and Dowman Keown Honda in Wanganui are going to do all the work for free

Soo .. here's a plug for their site
    http://dowmanhonda.motorcycletrader.co.nz/

A check of the current balance this afternoon showed $110.

And we have a current pledge total of $330 .. so we are doing pretty well

Even if we can't get all the cash needed to fix this kids bike, every little bit helps

On a side note, Darryl tells me that the dad of the boy has been in touch and he is completely overwhelmed by what we are doing and we have been promised photos of the bike and the happy wee chap once we get this all squared away.

Keep up the good work people.

I'm impressed and we are doing so well and even surer that this IS THE place to be if you ride a bike - Come on, go without that extra beer and cough up a couple of $$.

Thats the spirit mate - believe it or not, we can change the world. Admittedly it might take a while to change the whole world but if we start with this kids - well who knows.

    Damn right
$130 reveived so far and about $350 (in total) pledged

Although can whoever A W PHILLIPS is send me a PM with your KB Name .. lol .. cheers.

Once again people, a little goes a long way and $600 to replace plastics is a lot of money to a family with young kids, we are already half way there with pledges and i for one am proud to be a part of a community that sees a need a steps in to help.

Just another reason why i wear the logo on my jacket

They are providing labour free of charge and passing on the parts needed for cost, i think thats pretty good of them and as far as they are concerned probably plenty.

But a good idea tho ..

Any one else that wants to match us $ for $ is welcome to PM me

Ohhh K, just had a mild slap to the head for outing an anonymous doner, guys (and girls ) .. if you get the bank details off someone else and want to remain anonymous, please make sure that the word anon apears on the transaction ok.

Although, if your given the details from someone else, can you be sure that they are correct?

Lets not have this turn into a big shit storm ok

we are doing really well here, we are up to a pledge total of $490..

    I'm just gob smacked.
