Form over function for you then?

The Busa has one ofthe lowest CoD's of any bike.

Kawasaki has plans in store for its new 1400 platform in addition to the ZX14 (ZZR14), which includes a GTR14 (Concours) as well as this newly-announced Z1400. If you want pillion comfort, buy either the ZX14 or the GTR14. If you want bonkers fun, buy the Z1400.

Well partly...beauty is in the eye of the beholder and the Hyabusa has never floated my boat in the looks department. I don't think I'd spend money on something I didn't like the look of even if it was the fastest thing on two legs!...so to speak!

I also feel that the Z14 doesn't quite know which stable it wants to be in.
Ive been a Kawasaki man most of my riding life but I just dont think that the designers have got the nose design that has graced the new Z series quite right. Shame, otherwise I might have been tempted into a ZThou rather than jumping ship to Honda. Having said that, the CB probably satisfies my needs for long haul comfort and smoothness and "pillion friendliness" more so than the Z.
Point taken, but what I was getting at was that mock up of the Z1000 is a long way from what the finished product looks like so there is a chance that the Z1400 is a result of the same talented computer work.

I dunno if this is the real deal or not but apparently it was scanned from a brochure.
    Looks rather neat IMO.

I dont really trust anything from Raptors and Rockets, but would be cool. Looks like a response to Suzuki's B-King! (yeah yeah, i've just read back through the thread)

Some mixed messages there Hitch. So, do you like it or not?

Anyway, what is the deal with front fork/mudguard area? Seems to be a bit of a dustbin lid stuck down there.

I suppose 'response' bikes (to the b-king) are OK, but prefer true originals.
(sure I ride a jellymould 'response bike' myself ... )

Wonder which version of the motor is going in it? Naked models tend to be tuned more for low down grunt etc. Looks like they've used more than just the motor too - brakes, suspension, indicators. Quite a bit of ZX14 in the front sidecovers.
