$5k is a good start, forget the furniture - put it all on the bike!
Good luck on the 12th Sr8, do you know what's involved? It looks like it's an hour long, unlike the restricted at a half hour. Where are you sitting it?
Thanks! Im sitting it at Kilbirnie again, on a Sunday which I thought was weird! Check this link out: http://www.ltsa.govt.nz/factsheets/59.html
It breaks down what the test involves, how it is scored etc...
"Some people are like clouds, once they fuck off, it's a great day!"
Well if my full test was anything to go by, they don't always do it by the book. No way mine took that long, for starters. When it came to "detecting and reacting to hazards", there were none! So, I had to make them up: "I checked for cars coming in from the side road - none - and I checked the road surface for oil etc - none - and as I approached that pedestrian crossing I looked for people about to cross - none - etc etc" The only thing he told me I forgot to mention was that, as I approached and went through an intersection with no other cars in sight, there was a car behind me - him - that could be a hazard. I thought about saying I thought it was safe to assume he could drive safely, but thought better of it!
You'll have no problems - just relax and ride safely.
