    Never mind the rain, a mere shower. The thing to get excited about is the wind. The forecast has Variable 10 knots in Cook Straight this evening. Variable means the wind is so light it can't even decide which direction to blow from. Do you know how often that occurs in Cook Strait!!!? No excuses for not riding tonight will be accepted.

    edit: rain has scared me off a bit so 50/50 on wheter i want to come tonight (still need to find someone willing to pillion me)

    I see you are coming from J'ville so why not meet us down and the caltex near kaiwharawhara nad ride out to the elephant pond. We usually meet around 6 and leave about 6:10

    I get variable wind sometimes, but i sure as heck know from which direction it comes from.
    Some things are worth dying for, living is one of them.
