    For Inline

Chatted to Speedygirl, and I was going to wait till Monday, but as they say, sooner the better.

I was thinking of organising a bit of a money pool that we can do to help Inline and Mrs Inline for the future. Im in for $50.

Ways of donating are yet to be decided, but I was thinking of opening a separate bank account and making the number availible for those that wish to deposit something to help out. Anyone with any better ideas?

Might start a new thread so everyone can see
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

As it hasn't been specifically suggested yet, I am willing to put together a 'care package' for John to be sent down THIS FRIDAY 10/11/06.
Anyone in the Auckland region who has something they want to send, think about it carefully. We don't want to overload either John or the staff, I have spoken to him this morning and suggested 'audio books', he was keen on the idea. He cannot handle holding books and magazines at present so this seemed like a good solution. He said he likes historical, science fiction, fantasy, novels etc.
If anyone has any other ideas, bring it on.
PM me for details of address, lets make it happen.

    Cool

Messages from Placidfemme and also MadDuck.

"Both send their best wishes and their thoughts are with you".

MadDuck is in Taupo all weekend, so she will post when she gets back to work.
Placidfemme has no internet connection at home except at work.
So she too will read all and post on Monday.

I spoke briefly to John and to Donna this morning.
The consultant was just arriving, so the convo with Donna was cut short.
Donna is heading back to New Plymouth on Monday due to work committments.
So all you gals and guys in Chch and surrounding areas need to keep going to visit John to keep him company and to keep his spirits up.

I saw the first post in this thread, and then a couple of nights off the computer and busy days where I can't follow a thread of get well wishes....and then this morning I find something truely nasty has happened,I've had to go back through the whole thread to find out what actualy has happened to Inline.Maybe someone could put Speedygirls list of what his injuries actually are on the first post so it's not buried on page 3 where no one can find it.

I've had some big tumbles off road, and most who have been off road have too.But sometimes I think about it,and realise how close to a real serious injury I was....tiz luck, and sometimes we have used today's offered amount.I hope all goes well with the speedy recovery John, and remember to stay positive, the mind is your most powerful healing tool.
