    More noise

Question for you gurus, I've got a Suzuki S83 Boulevard (aka 1400 intruder)
only done 1700miles. I want some more noise out of it. I have had the suggestion of drilling some 12mm holes in the rear of the mufflers. Any oppinions whether this would be bad for it in any way.

Cause he can and it sounds cool. Damn near everyone admits that a throaty Vtwin sounds mean as!

fuck man, drilling holes in the rear plates is not enough lad, take the pipes off and get the balance cross pipe cut off , this turn's them into single pipes, and then alter baffler, rebolt and it sound sooooo nice, but remember you still need a bit of back pressure, so don't use with out a baffle,

Hopefully its a temp solution till I do the full uncork, (rejet, new pipes, new airfilters), but feel I should clock up some miles first. I have drilled the holes and now it no longer sounds like a sewing machine, no mistaking its a Vtwin now, but not trying to sound like a Harley.
