In Fridays (3/11/06) Dominion Post there was a Photo and accompanying article about a rolled truck closing off the desert road.
Because the driver of that truck was in hospital and not in a hurry to admit to us that he was this same driver that had in fact closed the desert road for 13 hours, no one got around to procuring a copy of said article.

Is anyone able to provide a copy of said article for the drivers scrapbook.

PS. he is OK just a few grazes, bruises and of course a damaged ego. Starts back at work either Monday or Tuesday, depending on your point of view on graveyard shifts.

hmmm, would be able to help, but the friday copys are all in the trash at work now.

if you dont have any luck, try emailing the dom, they should be able to hook you up.

I will have a look at work morrow & see if Fridays copy is still about

Now I've just looked at our home delivery copy of Friday's Dom Post, no sign of such an article. Maybe it was in a later addition.

Dunno, All he knew was that it was the Dominion Post. I think it was Thursday that it happened but I guess he may have meant on Friday morning it happened.
