An RF900? Plenty of grunt, comfy for touring, commuting and I hear the odd track day too... I've just got one and think it's the dog's proverbials, but then I'm moving up from a 250 bandit, so anything really, would be swell...

Sort of. Think about it; if you set up a data logger, how much time, in a month that didn't include a track day, would you spend in the second half of the rev range? Less than half the time, I bet. Hence I spend most ( >50%) of the time down that end of the rev range.

See, the R would be perfect for NOT cracking the 2nd half of the rev range!

    Oh I give up.

All the FUN parts are in the second half, I would agree.

I am obviously not having enough fun.
