Full of shit???? I was there...
Ambos moved his leg and the moment they did, he semi came to and stopped snoring...
It was an Ambo call about the broken leg, not mine, but couldn't help but notice the knee pad that had been completely ripped out of his leathers. I lifted the stretcher at the feet end and got blood on my boots and pants so I am surprised he had no leg injuries...
HIs injuries are not surprising... he hit the raised drain culvert at the scene and his safety equipment (helmet, leathers etc) did better than average in saving him...
See my post #28.... I couldn't tell if it was an SV or a TL due to the damage, but is it important?
The important point here was he was going to be dead if he stayed out there overnight. He wasn't going to be seen by people driving past. Michelle spotted damage to the fence railing only and went back for a look because she had a feeling something wasn't right. If she didn't, it went dark 10 minutes later and he had already been there for some time unseen. The bike engine was barely warm to the touch. From the injuries you have pointed out, he is lucky to have been found when he was. I wish him, and his family, well in his recovery.
The alcohol smell was very strong, even with my cold I had at the time. Everyone commented about it, Ambo, Police, nurse etc... and yes, the blood results will show...
Fair comment about hanging him out to dry before the full story is known, for that I apologise unreservedly and am happy to be proved wrong (I often am, my wife proves this regularly enough...).
Michelle saved your brothers life...she spotted something no one else had and went back for a look. I was happy just to help out, no matter what. For all the shit we cops get on here, it was an "attempt" for some positive press instead for a change...
As for the abuse... whatever.... I'll see him sometime personally to wish him well and offer my apologies if I have pissed him off over anything...
