Tariana Turia will no doubt again blame it on the pakeha health system that 'fails' Maori and the racist doctors who according to her misdiagnose Maori patients because they want them to die.

hey folks, let's not take this off topic and get into any serious debates.

i don't appreciate my peurile and immature attempts at humour being turned into intelligent and worthwhile conversation.

Dover. Singlehandedly you have restored my faith in people's ability to rise above the urge to take life seriously. There's something very poetic about fighting bullshit with bullshit.

Shit. I'm going to have to dump my shares in the spray-paint manufacturing sector...
Anyone want two containerloads of spraycans??? Going cheap...

Depending on how you define it NZ is probably close to 99% crime free now.

NZs crime rate defined in terms of number of crimes per year per head of population is about 12% (ie. about 480,000 crimes per year). But at any one time there are only about 6,000 criminals in jail (about 0.15%). This leads to the conclusion that we already know - most of the crime is carried-out by a few individuals. Or, those predisposed to criminal activity normally carry-out more than one crime per year.

So, if 1% of NZders are criminals (40,000), and 6,000 are locked-up then the other 34,000 commit all the crimes (480,000 crimes) - which is an average 14 crimes per criminal per year. This is not beyond the realm of possibility.

The frightening thing is - think of all the money that is spent by the 99% protecting itself from the 1%!

So, by extension, if we eliminated the 1%, we would be crime free.

How much do 40000 bullets cost?

EDIT. Diabetes takes too long. I can't wait 100 years. Also diabetes is non selective. A lot of good buggers get diabetes. Bullet beats diabetes I reckon

I'd be a happy man if the Govt could be changed to one that actually supports kiwi workers, not benefit leaches or crims. They get so much from us through taxes, and then some just rock on in and take ya shite too.... and no-one gives a rats bum.

Ixion's 40000 bullets sound like fun and you wouldn't have to build a new stadium for the event! Savings, savings, savings!

Not if Tanzos has his way. The hangman would get to smoke the rope after the event. Now that would be a party for real swingers. Stoned on dope err rope.

Sell tickets to the big event. There'd be enough money to build 2 new stadiums. Hell, I'd pay plenty to see the bastards get 'theirs'.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
