Too much compression dampening ?? perhaps

what tyre pressure do you run?

Take more preload out. I would take half the preload you have on, off. Yes it will be a bit soft but then you can start to wind it on again and you will find the sweet spot. Hard to find it from the hard setting but easy from soft. Let us know how it works out. Could catch up over the weekend and have a look. Cheers

Could be Dave but the preload is turned a long way down and I think the set-up will work once the bike is softer. It really is hard at the moment.

Think John uses 36. I am on 38 and not having the same problems. I have a lot less preload. Time will tell.

I think Dad is using the recommended pressure, whatever that is. But don't quote me. . .

    Careful, barrelboy
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

More?? Didn't do the judderthingtm before I softened the preload. I think I need to get the damping/rebound on sync with the spring is all.

You are on to it , start by reducing the compression a couple of clicks see how that goes.

John has done a bit more work on it and we swapped bikes today. I found it hard to turn in at slow speed but once we cranked it up a bit it was fine. I think he has found good middle ground. We suspect the head stock bearings could be a bit suspect. Can't feel anything obvious but time will tell. And the front tyre has an agressive wear pattern so it could be that. Anyway it went well today. Aye MSTRS.......

Was a grate ride. I liked all the cow poo followed by the Lamb poo followed by the cow poo and did I mention the cow poooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. The silly dip stick out the front went too fast and the rest had to get out side there comfort zone. Please refrain from letting that person lead.

    How are the nickers Tart?

Was a very sharp and steep down hill corner aye? Well you did get your boot down. If I get time over the w/end I will have a look at another road very similar to that one. Goes off in to the emerald hills as well. Time to take a camera and put some pic's up here for the ones who do not come to see what they are missing.
    Oh well back to work...........................
