The first list is Brent B's from up the page further.A dealer price no doubt.
The second list is Ronayers.com in the US (admitted i think they are an online seller so some reduced costs perhaps)

The current price here for a TL1000S "bare" front fairing is over nz$500 per side..(That price has been the same going back to the old us 41 cents for nz$1 years ago when i got a full set of plastic)
One of the members on TL Zone (US) just bought the same fairing from his local dealer,cost.... US$163 or nz$ 243

No one can deny business's running at a profit or they would not survive,but..

Two head and base gaskets here, around $270.

I still remember the BS price quoted here when i was doing the Honda SP2 TB to TL mod and wanted some stock manifolds. They were half the cost including freight from the US..$200 dearer here.

Someone is setting the RRP,i would have thought Suzuki NZ or what name they go by (Used to be based in Wanganui ?)

Lets not even go near the stainless Yoshimura mufflers at $1500 a pair here...To put that into perspective my full high mount system with Titanium cans cost less than that including air freight,GST and no BS receipts to get it though customs.

It is just something that annoys me every now and again..... I love those standard..Its the exchange rate mate..... Ummm ok,then how is it that the prices are the same when the rate has gone from 41 cents to as high as 71 cents.....You suddenly get no more answer's

Hi Everyone, new to the KB site. Had my 1999 black TL1000R for about 2 months now, and loving it's power and sound, done the TRE mod, cheap, cost of a 15k resistor from dick smiths, adjusted throttle TPS, was miles out of adjustment. Have not done airbox mod yet, but have just setup suspension, with settings from sportsrider .com, was having trouble running wide on corners but seems good now,( might have been going to fast !!! ) also changed the oil in the steering damper to lighter grade. Hope to meet a few riders out there.

The plate i got from Mike in Wellington and the bike from Kapiti coast, picked them both up the same day- both at a very good price.Gave me a chance to have a day in Welly as hadnt been north for many years, had a night in Picton and a good cruise home.Have clocked up quite a few kms in the time i have had it and the clock has just hit 17000kms.

Just brought some DRC 601 indicators for my SV (have a look on the cycletreads site). They would suit your TLR to a tee! Sexy little triangular LED indicators, a worthy replacement for the huge mothers they fit as standard
