Thanks Allun & Fat Tony, yea it was just a thought, and looks like there are far more cheaper mods that I can mess around with, well untill the bank account recovers anyway:

It's a goldmine for us Sexy Vehicle owners.
The yosh box is simple to use.......you cant stuff it up.To me anyway it was the most cost effective answer....As i change exhaust/header systems and muck about with the airbox i can piss around with the yosh box..plug and play as opposed to getting my bike to a dyno every time i change anything on it........agreed the pc111 is a great thing but doesnt suit my needs at all...as for altering your base ecu map....with the yosh box it easy..plug it in and return the ecu to its original settings....takes about 30 seconds.....then theres the added benefit of beer money from using it on your mates bikes.![]()

The PC111 ia actually very easy to use, and a lot more adjustable than the Yoshi box
Plug in a lap top to your PC111, save the map that is in there, and play with the fuel mixture all the way through all throttle positions and any % you choose, so the Yoshi box is actually very old news and not that great
Holeshot in Takapuna has one aye.. $35 for the adjustment, and bobs ya uncle... so not really worth buying one aye.
Im getting mine done on friday or sat morning so i will let ya know if my arse dyno meter feels the difference!!
ps: ( my first post ) YAY![]()
Agreed entirely.......................but for an old fart like me that doesnt really like computers and is quite happy to play around with 5-10 % adjustments it works just fine.........that together with my mistrust of PC2/3s after reading posts of them shitting themselves leaving guys with a bike that doesnt go...on an overseas forum....leaves me happy enough to play around with yoshimuras old news.....

Ha ha, was not rubbishing you or it mate, just telling it as it is, you should have a play with a PC111 and lap top some time though, it is as easy as what you are doing on the key board now! See you at Timaru? and I will show you
Heaps of fun, and you get to really play with power delivery and characturistics? of your bike

ps: ( my first post ) YAY
Bobs ya uncle if your only going to change one thing........so you get it flashed and then you mod something else which changes everything.....as i am muckin about with my old TL all the time it was worth buying one.
Mate i will ride up to timaru to watch you ride any time.......that i take tips on for sure...........but ya cant make us old buggers learn those puter things if where just not trustin em....ha ha.........[/QUOTE
