I 'ave determine that the BDOTGNZA need a proofreader to hold steady the ladder with which they climb upon their high horse.

WTF? Everybody needs to be taught lessons, and that is the kind that parents should be teaching. Sending them to prison is a bit harsh, but there's no way they should have expected him to finish up dead.

IMHO the sentence enforced should be the one handed down by the judge - no more, no less. And that, AFAIK, is usually to be confined. Not to be intimidated or assaulted by fellow inmates - or by guards, for that matter. And if he hadn't even been found guilty, there's no excuse for any discomfort whatsoever - he should have been in a guarded, but comfortable, car or bus.

You can't teach people respect and decency without treating them with respect and decency. Otherwise you're just teaching fear.

That was deliberate, an attempt to see who has skills in literacy and is also awake... you passed the test, Drum.

My arse they are poor. Didnt they all put in complaints that whilst in this corps they were abused and were claiming COMPENSATION for the trauma of being shouted at.

Indeed there was a class action. It involved a bit more than concern about the content and tone of the RSM's utterances. Personally I would prefer to be marched around at the cadence of La Legion E'trangere, rather than that of the Cadet Corps.
