    Riding while sick?

Does anyone have any suggestions for riding with a runny nose?

I started to feel sick on Tuesday with a sore throat... and thought that was all... it started to hurt more on wednesday and Thursday... woke up this morning and it wasn't too bad... so I rode to work... as I got to the bridge I started sneezing like crazy and had to open my visor in fear of anything being expelled on the inside of my visor...

Now my nose is running like crazy and I'm not looking forward to the ride home without the ability to wipe my nose every 3 seconds...
I'm not a complete idiot... some pieces are missing

    -breathe through your mouth
-open your visor when you feel like sneezing, it sometimes makes it go away and if not at least you don't get snot on the inside.

Remember the scarf tied around your face (nose and mouth)
Well just have it just under your nose...... it will catch it all for you....
You only have a short trip up over the bridge..... so it will last that short distance...

Oh yeah then wash it ready for tomorrow's ride to work...

Always thought it might be good to try earplugs in your nostrils, sneezing with the visr closed isn't a good thing either....

My sympathies, I am feeling exactly the same way, it came on at about 3am, the only reason I went to work is because the boss had the day off, and theres only me & him. I am sitting her in a swannie atm even though its like 20deg outside, I just cant get warm.

I have shocking hayfever, so fully understand the runny nose thing. Sniff, long, loud and frequently...it works (sort of) for me..

If my nose was running money, I'd blow it all on you...

Some would say i have answer for everything but not this one except to say if it were me, i would douse my face with cold water (in the toilet area for best results) have a big big blow out, repeat once, big sniff, yell arrrrrrgh! and beat chest. Sunny's are a must for the ride home and visor up when you can....Good luck PF........

Open your visor, cup your left glove around your nostrils, and blow hard. Save the results for flinging at any particularly obstreperous cage drivers.
