Why can't you go to AA and get a temporary licence issued on the 22nd with a start date clearly stated from the 24th? Push some buttons there and you will get your way around. There some clowns on the phones trust me. Speak to their superiors.

Doubt that mate, what you on about..Lol haha..Nah I am serious it's just all depends on how far you want to push it to get results, I am talking from experience with LTSA.

ANYONE can ask for world peace (they just won't get it) and I think Gareth did star in a porn movie set in the Hilton, Paris...

You can go into the AA or whereever and get a temporary license on the 27th. Basically go in with your birth certificate or any formal type of identification, explain your circumstances and request a temporary license that will be valid for one month (you know, the paper sort).

If you do this don't forget to take proof of address as well e.g. Power bill with your name and current address on it.

Don't wait for your license to arrive by mail (takes too long). Do what these guys said for the 27th. You can make things easier at the AA (or wherever) if you ring LTSA first, explain your situation and get a reference number that the AA guy can then look up.

Up to you what risk you want to take between 24 and 27 Dec....
