    With injury, who cares.

With death, as soon as you can get to the keyboard.
Some things are worth dying for, living is one of them.

as somewone who was directly involved with the incidents of late i thought i would offer my side to those of you that have never experienced what i have now gone through.
I was not on the ride, threads were posted, luckily they were removed before i logged in. As i had not had a txt from Bruce all day i was worried by 4pm. It took until 5:30ish for me to be notified about the accident. I am grateful to those on KB who knew and removed anything to do with it till i was informed in person. I dont know how i would have felt if i had found out bu logging on to KB and reading a specualtion thread.
as for the subsequest threads that have been removed, that was for legal reasons only. I think once the police report is out, you can then come to your own conclusions and discuss it, but not before as i have a legal and financial issue pertaining to insurance. and let it be known that insurance companies view this site daily, I found out from my insurance company as they started asking questions.

So guys, use your head and grow some compassion. this may be an online world.. but it flows closely with reality which we all live in and some things are very serious in reality.

That's exactly what I was thinking. There are enough partners who log on here who may not have been informed. The question you should ask yourselves is; Would you like to find out by reading about it on KB?

Unfortunately "common" sense just aint that common no more...

Once next of kin have been notified, then it starts becoming academic as to whether or not an accident is in the public arena. Yesterday's River Road accident has been published in newspapers, albeit not yet with the name of the rider. I don't see why we should hesitate from posting about something that is already being discussed in other media, subject to all of the courtesies that have been endlessly and incessantly raked over in other recent threads.

    My Opinion

Boomer nailed it first up. Respect and common decency should take precedence over the hot gossip line, of who and what happened.

There's too many bloody morons on here all too concerned with their own selfish opinions and post counts, rather than dealing with the issues at hand and what they can possibly do to help and better the situation.

This maybe a public forum, but remember who does what to keep this site open for all - respect them. Also what you type has an impact on those reading it - you don't know who or when are reading what.

Just be mindful of your opinions, we are all entitled to our own, however right or wrong they are. This maybe in the cyber world, but remember there is a human being at the other end of the computer reading it, who has feelings.

Consider them before yourself do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

Quit posting "I crashed an blah blah" "I'm 50years old an still speed, crashed an got away with it"

Stop being bloody idiots and Think!! Its not all about me, me, me. Think about your fellow men and how your actions will implicate them. You never know when your likely to need their help.

As Dr. Phil said "There are only two types of person in any given situation - A Contributor or Contaminator?? Which are you?"

    Merry Xmas

Some people appear to have formed strange views about what may be published on this site and the ability of that to elicit what may be presumed as sub-optimal outcomes from insurance companies. Far-be-it from me to get in the way of a good conspiracy theory, but I believe it is always best to be completely straight in one's dealings with an insurer, particularly if one is required to escalate matters.
