I know the bike, the owner and the owner's father.

The young chap who owns it is an apprentice mechanic at a garage in Cromwell, and the bike has been well maintained and runs very nicely.

Have a look at http://chatto-creek-mcc.tripod.com/id4.html and read the report on our Milford Sound run. You'll see that the wee kawa was the smallest bike on the ride yet he kept up with the bigger machines no trouble at all.
    Time to ride

Well, $1500 is the starting bid, you can't buy it for that price -- people will bid, lol! But on the other hand, $1500 isn't unbelievably cheap. It's not a ZXR or CBR or anything like that, it's a 80s parallel twin commuter bike. If it sold for $2000 I wouldn't be very shocked.

I would be, I just sold mine a few weeks ago for $3000 and they are going for up to $3500 now, very desirable bike due to the sports looks, the super reliable engine, and the performance isn't too bad
