any guesses as to how that went?

( btw, the k2 thou DIDN'T have yoshi cams or a full exhaust D-:<, felt a little ripped off when i found that out )

I reckon your 10R would have been quicker in every gear.

I think that the zx12 rider will be sick of you coming around to humilate him lol

    ok

standard zx10r vs my mates zx12:
in short, the 12 was faster.

    6th - zx12 pulls away, 1 bike length
    5th - as above
4th - zx12 by half a bike length, i start to reel him in towards the redline
    3rd - as above
    2nd - zx12 smoked me by 2 lengths
this gutted me! I was sure i was going to at least keep up......
sure, the 12 has a few minor mods, but i honestly thought i had him..... sure FELT faster than my gixxer

If you did the same tests that you did last time and you are -1 at the front, I would think that your tourquey beast should have done the damage.

    Bloody hell emergency edit :-)

Very interesting result. How could that be??????

modified zx10r (pc3, TRE, pipe, filter, dyno'd@169, -1 on the front) vs my mates zx12:
in short, the 10 was heaps faster

6th - zx10 pulled away hard, i even sat up, heh heh 5+ bike lengths
    5th - as above
4th - as above, but more so
3rd - as above, but even more so
2nd - as above once it stopped spinning

    Finally!
I smoke the nemesis zx12, phew....

now my mate is talking about getting a 06 zx10 or a k5 - k6 gixxer thou EEKKK!!!
looks like that super charger will be happening sooner rather than later

    the arms race continues......
