I'm thinking about it, are you going over ? I'd like to go if I had some others to go with.

Hope the rain clears for the ride this evening, its meant to. I've dragged my bike inside at work, just managed to get it through the door. I don't like it sitting out in the rain.

Yep I hope to go. Not sure who else is going but I have a ride in the pace (track) car organised.
You are welcome to come along. Also hope to go to Paeroa on a day trip. Or over night, will see how work is going. Will plan a departure time in a few days. 7.30 -8.00 I would think.

I hate the bike out as well. Just hate to see the rain on the cables and bits. But in saying that I ride very happily in the rain.

Great ride tonight. New tyre on the back and suspension getting close now. Feels so much more planted and predictable.
Lovely wee VTR, Alice. And you ride well (esp for a newby!!!!)
Good to see a couple of new faces too. Quentin and Jan. Hope they make it along regular-like.
    Nice social end tonight too....

Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Now I can see while people say "smile before the photos taken" .Must have been some serious conversation going on when yu took that one.

Nice ride except for that fine gravel along the Glengary road, we where lucky with the weather , just pedalled into work and my hands are numb, cold southerly out there this morning.

Those Pohukakawas in flower outside breakers are beautiful.

Steve, Jan is interested in riding to Wanganui also, told him I'll txt when I know some detail.

Was a lovely ride - the weather was beautiful, sunny and warm!
I practiced being smoother, getting there, I'd just like to be faster too!
Was great to have a meal afterwards too...beats going home and cooking for the boys!

    Blah Ride to Wanganui

    Hi People
    Tiss Wanganui time again.

I am going over and taking a few slower rides along. Come along. You know how good the day is and it is a great ride. Our group will be sticking around the 100-110 km mark. There are other groups going over that will travel faster if you want but this is a slower group ride.

I will leave the BP petrol station on Taradale Road at 7.30am on Boxing day. Will leave Wanganui around 3 ish to come home but that is up to you. Swap cell numbers and we can send txt to organise this on the day. If you want to go earlier or later just do so. Send me a note and I will know how many bikes we will have. Remember to take your ear plugs.

Everyone is welcome so ask your riding mates. If you want to speed up just head away and we will meet you there.
    Thanks people.
    Steve

What a great day. Alice is on to it. You are a good rider and I recon we will struggle to keep up with you from here on in. Hope your ride home was good. Thanks to Roberty dog for replying to a message from Richard. Had a ball and it was great to ride with him. Happened to meet a few more KBer's at the pub on the way home. Funny how things happen. Small world aye people.
The racing was out standing. A few too many crashes. We can do without them from now on people. I have to put a plug in for Craig Sherriffs here. He doesn't get any where enough coverage from the commentators. What a rider.
    Go Suzuki............
So in short thanks to those that came over. it was a great day. Roll on Paeroa.....................

Sorry I didn't get to the ride tonight. Bloody work.................
