Runs really nicely, and got it for the amazing price of $1500

OK, now for the 'suck' part.

Got up this morning, went over to my mom's work to collect some money she owed me (next to the old Warehouse on Te Rapa Straight/across from Road&Sport). Got EFTPOS card, went to Boyd Honda (Te Rapa Straight), bought some 2stroke oil ($27), then carried on up Te Rapa Straight to Supacross Cycles to get a WOF. Another $25 later, my bike is full of 2stroke oil (Castrol TTS Fully Synthetic), and it has a WOF. Then stopped at Westpac (Caltex Roundabout, yes still Te Rapa Straight), to draw the rest of the money owed from the cash machine. Then rode back down Te Rapa Straight to drop off the EFTPOS card. Park in a parallel-park parking, hop off the bike go inside hand the card back to my mom, as I turn around, I see a big people mover reverse 2 metres (half metre back out of theres, and a further 1.5 metres into my parking), and knock my bike over... I'm like WTF you dumb bitch! Anyway, have got all the necessary insurance details, and have been into Waikato Yamaha to get an insurance quote written up.

    Damages:
Top left fairing braket - bent
    Clutch lever - bent
    Left Clip-on - bent
    Gear-shift - bent
Left lower fairing - vinyl scratches
    Left mirror - broken.

    fuck, no way!
that really sucks dude, oh well, insurance pays!
at least we all got to see it when it was mint last night!

I feel your pain dude. Not so much my bike but my car isn't that old (ie couple of years) and I already have dings in the doors from meat puppets opening theirs on it.

Lol, i guess it wasn't just me.
I had a restricted driver cut me off on intersection just 3 days before Christmas.
He apologized and admitted fault; and tried his best to talk to me to not go to the insurance.

Damage is on the plastics only but valuewise it's in the region of $5k.
Insurance company almost wrote it off, but the nice chap at *Nice shop name* defended and said it's repairable.

Heard a news from the insurance company today that the other party has decided to deny all liabilities and send a response that I was speeding in the CBD area.

Luckily I had 2 witnesses that was there and knew the other guy was at fault and send a nice statement supporting me.

    No we wait and see.

Sorry to read of your bike woes, ZI.

Some people are just utter fucking morons when it comes to driving. Of course, if the silly cow had been driving something smaller than a tank she might have been able to see what was behind her.

what do you mean "at least it was insured at time it happened"? My bike doesn't have insurance yet, hell, I only transferred into my name 10 minutes ago. The fun-killing-tank has insurance

I park on the footpath too, there are no parks in Levin. I've never had a ticket here. I got one in *%$#$@&^ North but wrote in and explained that some c%nt musta moved my bike cos I parked legally, which I assure you I had.

Bad new about the bike, it's Murphys law.

I've had ridden without a near miss for ages, then I decided to trade the HD on a new 6F. Took the HD for a final ride with the missus, and followed a line of cars doing a RH turn into the main St. of Foxton. Grandad in the toyota gave way to 4 cars in front of me, and then pulled out and almost dished us. Only broke his rear view mirror luckily, it hooked up on my foot, but I managed not to crash.

Then got the new bike, TWO bloody idiot failed to give way on the ride home. Sheesh !
David must play fair with the other kids, even the idiots.

I still don't understand why, when you had three bike shops near by, you still parked in a car space.
