Was that bike going fast enough... not much the cop could have done to avoid it

The cop obviously pulled out because the guy on the bike wouldn't have done that speed at him... he was partially in the middle lane when the bike hit, yet a car (beginning of the clip) uses that same middle lane without an issue.

The bike was at fault for the speed, and the cop may have (rightly) underestimated the speed of the car although it seems to be pretty staionary for the few frames it appears just before/on/after impact

As for the pack mentality of the bikers afterwards.... just a bunch of dogs attacking someone for the sake of it... not something to be proud of.

I've seen the start of that video before, but not the rest of it where the bikers start bashing the cop car... crazy

Must admit the cop didn't have a lot of time to react to the bike coming at such speeds, but logically looking at it, the cop should (I believe anyway) have advanced driver training and should have noticed the speed of the bike coming towards him, if he wasn't sure of the speed he shouldn't have pulled out.

At the same time the biker should have been looking ahead enough to have seen the cop car about to pull out and adjusted his speed accordingly (exspecially because it was a cop car... logic says slow down or be fined).

As for the bikers attacking the police car, just plain stupid IMO.

Yeah, its people like that which give bikers a bad name.

Have to say, relooking at that video, was the cop car even moving?? sure looks like its just sitting there in the middle of the road...maybe trying to stop/slow down the group of bikes? don't know...

Looked more like he saw the slower bike and moved out, not seeing dopey blasting through at warp 9... but hey, the biker thought nothing would ever happen to him while he is speeding...

The whole thing kinda looked staged... bikers filming, bikers on the side of the road, right there at that intersection.....

Ancient youtube vid. The story is that the cop pulled in front of the bikes deliberately to prevent them speeding down the street, thats why they attacked the car.
