    We are sometimes heard

After Yungatart's little escapade in Dec http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...1&postcount=26 , when we returned from holiday, I got on the phone to the Te Kuiti District Council Roading Division. I spoke to a nice young lady there who gave me her email so I could send her a 'report' with photos of the problem corner, along with what I would recommend. I expected that I would hear no more.
BUT yesterday morning I got a phone call from her, to tell me that their engineer in charge had visited said corner, totally agreed with me that it was a problem AND my recommendation as to signage and corner speed. YAY!!!
The little guy can make a difference.
We will be travelling that road again in early March so will take my camera in the hope that signs are up and I can post proof here.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

*Cough* - that's only ONE of the garages...! 'Bout time you came for a visit, Merv, you've been threatening it for ages!

And Phurball, we have paddocks, so if Andy wanted to, he could lose a bit of traction!
